serving hospitals and organisations working with the homeless and mentally ill
The arrival of the internet and the creation of social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook have transformed the lives of those in mainstream society.
However, for those outside the mainstream such as the majority of homeless and mentally ill people who do not have access to this technology, its arrival has only served to isolate them further.
The founding principle behind the creation of MH-worX is to use this technology to assist hospitals and organisations who work with the homeless and mentally ill, to transform recovery practices in the mental health sector.
We also believe that innovation as well as technology is a key to adapting existing mainstream programs to suit the needs of homeless and mentally ill people.
Already we have five project outlines which demonstrate how we can implement our founding principles. Here is a link to them on our website.
